The design of this villa is based on a combination of traditional elements interpreted through a contemporary approach. Open spaces are created in which the connection between interior and exterior plays a central role, making the most of the west-facing orientation towards the sea and the sunset — a key requirement for the owner.

The residence is set on a gently sloping plot and is primarily arranged on a single level. The design takes full advantage of the site’s natural configuration. The combination of generous open spaces and the careful balance between privacy and transparency allows the building to integrate seamlessly with its surroundings.

Luxury and spatial openness are present throughout the home, achieved through the use of local materials and construction technologies that respond to vernacular architecture. A private internal courtyard has been incorporated, featuring trees that provide natural protection from solar exposure — an essential element for a west-facing property. The façades are designed to enhance natural ventilation, passive solar control and thermal inertia. Vegetation also plays a key role in ensuring privacy and reinforcing the relationship between architecture and landscape.

The project is conceived as a juxtaposition of volumes, each responding to the specific functional requirements of the different living spaces. Local materials such as wood, stone and the traditional white Ibizan finish are combined to create a balanced and timeless architectural expression.

Oriented towards the northwest to capture distant sea views, the residence is positioned at one corner of the plot, allowing the remaining area to be dedicated to gardens and cultivation. Access is provided via an elegant natural stone pathway surrounded by vegetation, leading to a double-height entrance hall where the staircase to the upper level becomes a central architectural feature of the home.

The ground floor accommodates the main living areas, which open directly onto the pool terrace, as well as two bedrooms. The primary suite is located on the upper floor, featuring private terraces and impressive sea views.

Sa Creu

This residence was designed for a local Ibizan family on a north-facing plot with uninterrupted views over the valley and the sea. The site features a steep slope, falling approximately six metres below road level, which makes the rooftop terrace a key element when viewed from the main road. The challenges posed by both the brief and the terrain were further intensified by strict local planning regulations, leading to the solution of partially embedding the house into the landscape. This approach ensures adequate natural light through the introduction of skylights throughout the villa.

Organised on a single level, the home opens towards the northwest, with the living areas, dining space and bedrooms enjoying views over the pool and towards the sea. The main living room forms the heart of the family home, incorporating a fireplace and an open kitchen positioned to one side of the space. The owner’s personal interest in cooking is reflected in a professionally equipped kitchen and pantry, which benefit from independent exterior access and a direct connection to an outdoor dining area.

Villa Benirrás

This magnificent residence is located in the northern area of the island of Ibiza, surrounded by nature and enjoying uninterrupted sea views from its north-facing orientation.

The home is composed of a series of interlocking volumes, creating a composition of “boxes” that references the island’s vernacular architecture. Each of these volumes houses a bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom and walk-in dressing area. Three bedrooms are located on the ground floor, with two additional bedrooms on the upper level, one of which serves as the principal suite.

Through the use of rustic materials and carefully positioned skylights, the architecture conveys a sense of warmth and natural light, shaping both the building and its interiors as a true year-round home. Within this interplay of volumes, light and shadow, intimate and welcoming spaces have been created to enhance everyday living.

The swimming pool is positioned on the northern side of the property, on a terrace set slightly below the level of the house. This area includes both an open terrace and a covered space designed for outdoor dining and relaxation.

Villa Cala Salada

Located on the west coast of Ibiza, with exceptional views of the sunset, the guiding principle of this multi-level villa is to achieve a natural integration with the surrounding landscape.

The project involves the renovation and extension of an existing residence dating back to the 1970s, originally characterised by arched façades and small openings. For the transformation, a contemporary and minimalist approach was adopted, resulting in a home that stands out within the surrounding residential development.

The plot features a steep slope, descending approximately four metres below street level. As a result, the entrance terrace becomes one of the highest points of the property, accommodating parking for three vehicles as well as the main access to the house. From this level, a staircase leads down to the lower floors, including the main terrace and garden located on the lowest level.

On this garden level, the residence opens fully towards the sun and the views. All primary living spaces — living room, dining area and bedrooms — are oriented towards this area. The living and dining space forms the central family area, incorporating an open-plan kitchen and a double-height zone. The upper level includes a lounge or viewing area, a small library and two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.

The main façade is almost entirely glazed, alternating transparent and translucent surfaces to modulate natural light and interior privacy. The open concept of the home blurs the boundary between interior and exterior, maximising the experience of enjoying both spaces simultaneously.

Villa Cala Tarida

Year: 2014

Located on a steeply sloping plot, this private villa was designed with an architecture shaped almost entirely by the site’s topography. The residence is oriented towards the west, facing the sea, with all living spaces opening onto these exceptional views. The house is organised around two primary axes. The first consists of a volume containing the main living areas, kitchen and guest bedroom, all arranged on a single level. The second is a separate volume dedicated to the principal bedrooms, incorporating a small shared living space. These axes follow the natural contours of the land, unifying both built forms into a continuous volume that begins at the highest bedroom and concludes at the underground parking level.

The villa combines traditional materials — wood, stone and white-rendered walls — with modern and industrial elements. A similar language is applied to the exterior, which is complemented by native vegetation. The property is equipped with advanced ventilation and climate-control technologies, facilitating ease of maintenance while enhancing ecological performance and sustainability.

Since its completion in 2014, the surrounding vegetation has grown in a largely natural manner, requiring minimal maintenance. This approach has allowed the built volumes to become fully integrated into the landscape, reinforcing the strong relationship between architecture and environment.

Villa Destino

Year: 2019

Located on a compact plot in the Can Pep Simó area, this project maximises the potential of the site while creating a modern, spacious residence executed with great attention to detail. At the same time, the home opens towards views of Ibiza’s historic old town and the sea, with the island of Formentera visible on the horizon.

The residence is set on a sloping site and is organised across two main levels, with an additional basement level dedicated to parking and technical services. Throughout the principal living spaces, the design prioritises openness towards the views and the surrounding outdoor areas.

The layout is tailored to the client’s requirements, featuring a central living and dining area with an open-plan kitchen. Two primary bedrooms are located on the upper level, each with independent access from the ground floor via separate staircases. The rooftop level offers a generous usable terrace, complete with a jacuzzi and a small guest bathroom, ensuring full enjoyment of the property’s most exceptional views.

This contemporary design villa is set in the heart of the mountains of Ibiza, combining sophistication with natural beauty and offering an exceptional setting to enjoy panoramic sea views.

The interior layout balances private living spaces for family use with generous areas designed for events and social gatherings. The architecture and design carefully reconcile the site’s strict topographical conditions and local planning regulations with the client’s requirements for privacy and openness. The villa is located on a steeply sloping, north-facing plot and is organised primarily on a single level.

The interior design was developed in collaboration with designer José Antonio Flores. Rustic stone walls create a striking contrast with polished flooring, while the client’s art collection plays a central role in the overall concept. The artworks are integrated seamlessly into the design and highlighted through indirect lighting and custom natural stone display elements.
